Typical timelines by type of website
Published 2026 benchmarks from Dubai agencies broadly agree on the ranges below, measured from signing to going live and assuming content arrives on time. The faster column needs a reduced scope and quick decisions on your side.
| Type of website | Typical | Fastest |
|---|---|---|
| Small business site, 5–7 pages | 4–6 | 3 |
| Larger marketing site, 10–20 pages | 8–12 | 6 |
| Corporate or institutional site, 20–40 pages | 12–20 | 10 |
| Online shop | 10–16 | 8 |
| Redesign with content migration | 10–18 | 8 |
These are market ranges from the published benchmarks listed under Sources, not Brisk's timelines. Brisk agrees a launch date in writing before starting; most of its sites go live in 14 days.
What happens at each stage
For a marketing site with content ready, one Dubai benchmark breaks the work down as follows. The stages overlap, so the total is shorter than the sum.
| Stage | Working days | What you get at the end |
|---|---|---|
| Discovery and site map | 3–5 | An agreed list of pages |
| Design | 5–10 | Approved page designs |
| Build | 7–15 | The site on a test address |
| Content and SEO | 5–8 | Copy, titles and descriptions in place |
| Testing and fixes | 3–5 | A site ready to launch |
| Launch | 1 | The site live on your domain |
What adds the most time
Long projects rarely stall on code. They stall waiting for something from the client. The same benchmark puts a figure on the usual suspects:
- Content not ready at launch: adds about 5–10 working days.
- More than two rounds of design changes: about 3–7 days.
- Several people signing off: about 4–8 days.
- English and Arabic translation: about 3–6 days, more if Arabic is added after the English site is built. See what an Arabic website costs.
- No logo or brand files: about 2–5 days.
- Late access to the domain or hosting: about 1–3 days.
How to get your site live sooner
- Agree the page list before design starts, and keep it fixed until launch. New pages go in a second phase.
- Name one person who approves, and agree to reply to each review within two working days.
- Gather content early: your services, prices you are happy to show, photos, team details and reviews.
- Decide on Arabic at the start. Planning both languages from the first design is faster than retrofitting one.
- Have your domain login ready, or let the studio register the domain in your name.
How Brisk launches in 14 days
Brisk's two-week plan works by settling the things above before the clock starts. A short call fixes the page list and the price. You approve your homepage design in week one, before any code is written; week two is the build, content loading and launch. Larger sites with booking systems, online shops or many service pages take longer, and we agree that date before starting. See how the process works, or ask for a free homepage mockup to start.
